There are 11 types of different fruits in the game, starting from Cherry and ending with the largest fruit — Watermelon.
Watermelon Game combines the merge mechanics of 2048 with the falling-object puzzle mechanics of Tetris, but with a real-time physics engine that makes each fruit bounce, roll, and settle based on gravity and collision. Use forward thinking when playing Watermelon Game. The game shows the next fruit in the top corner of the screen. Plan both the current fruit and the next fruit placement before dropping.
Orderly placement is a key strategy. Do not let fruits block other fruits from merging. Blocked merging opportunities lead to wasted space and large gaps between fruits, which makes the fruit stack much higher than necessary.
Drop fruits carefully and wait for the fruits to stop moving before dropping the next one. Letting fruits settle saves the trouble of trying to nudge them together later.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
The end goal is to create the watermelon. To accomplish the watermelon, players must merge fruits efficiently. One proven strategy is to keep larger fruits on one side (for example, the right side) and smaller fruits on the other side, slowly building the smaller fruits into bigger ones.
Low-value fruits are a late-game challenge because low-value fruits take longer to merge into useful sizes. Place low-value fruits close together so low-value fruits merge faster. In less optimal scenarios, toss low-value fruits to the sides to prevent low-value fruits from standing between larger-valued fruits.
Play slowly. Watermelon Game has no time limit. Plan each move carefully to minimize mistakes and maximize the chain reaction potential for higher scores.
